#Tasty Tuesday: Skinny Vanilla Bean Donuts

4aa3c-tastytuesdaybannerGreetings, friends!

My husband and I are all about the brunch. #NoTreble

Seriously, we’d so much rather have a date morning than a date night.

Bacon, donuts, waffles, mimosas, coffee…
breakfast-food-amy-poehlerWhich brings me to this week’s #tastyTuesday.

The Skinny Fork has got it going on with this donut recipe that us normal people can actually make!
vanillabeandonutNo yeast or sticky frying grease necessary for these pillowy puffs of perfection.

The only semi-tricky ingredient is the vanilla bean paste, but you can actually find it reasonably priced if you buy the vanilla beans at Winco in their bulk section.
Just slice the bean longways and use a spoon or butter knife to scrape out the yummy paste.
You only need 1/2 tsp for this recipe so it shouldn’t take more than maybe two vanilla beans.

One of these donuts is only 118 calories too, which is good because I don’t know exactly how many calories other donuts are worth, but I’d guess somewhere in the ballpark of a million, give or take.

If you eat these donuts, it will definitely give you superpowers.
Like dancing.
That’s a superpower right?
happy-dance-food-monicaOkay, go make some donuts, ya’ll.

Until next time, cheers!

    True story:

Friends of mine and I were driving by a 7-Eleven, and noticed a sign for two doughnuts for a dollar. I said we shouldn’t. Another friend chimed with, “They bring eternal life.” Verdict: His logic was sound. We stopped the car.

Geoff, I could not agree with your friend more on this one. I’m glad you all made the right decision. 🙂
